Joe Jank
The name for a player who scores 10 points or less with three darts? That’s a Joe Jank. Yep, if you manage to throw a “fish” (a score of 10 or below), you’ve officially earned the title of Joe Jank.
Joker
Imagine aiming for the bullseye, but your dart decides to take a detour. Despite the wild throw, you still rack up a great score. It’s like saying, “Oops, missed it! Oh wait, nailed it!” Sometimes even a misfire can be a winner!
Jugging
When a player finishes the game while their opponent is still stuck at a score of 200 or higher, it’s called “jugging” the opponent: “He has jugged his opponent!” This term comes from the good ol’ pub darts tradition, where the loser has to chug an entire jug of beer while playing their next game. Imagine trying to hit a bullseye with one hand and holding a giant beer jug in the other, now that’s multitasking at its finest (and messiest)! Cheers to humiliation and terrible aim!
