Easy in

The counterpart of “double in”, where you don’t need to throw a magical number to kick off the game, basically, the chill, no-pressure version where the dartboard doesn’t judge your life choices.

Eddie Shuffle

Or, to make it even more complete and with even more expertise, it’s called The Eddie Duffill Shuffle. Or the Eddie Duffy Shuffle. This is what you say when someone throws a dart that’s awkwardly placed, forcing the player to shuffle a little to the left or right, like they’re doing the cha-cha, just to get a clear shot for their next dart. Successfully pulling off this shuffle and dodging the blocking dart is considered a top-tier technical masterpiece in darts. Some folks also call it the Milk Float or the Doctor Robotnic. And every now and then, you’ll hear someone mention the Eddie Duffill Dance. Basically, it’s darts meets interpretive dance, graceful, strategic, and slightly ridiculous.

Egg and chips

Here we go again with yet another twist on the magical score of 26, achieved by landing a 20, a 1, and a 5. No other score in the history of dartdom has as many aliases! The grand total hails from the time when a cozy Bed & Breakfast stay cost a mere 26 pence. And guess what? That was just the breakfast bill! Eggs and chips were the breakfast of choice for the dawdlers. But hold on to your darts! For those eager to skip straight to lunch (while not exactly swimming in cash), a plate of eggs and chips for the same 26 pence would do the trick. Not exactly gourmet, but hey, it kept the munchies at bay.

Eights

For those of us who prefer the path of least resistance. Yep, that’s you. A quicker way to say 18.
