What’s the first thing that comes to mind about your favorite aspect of darts?

When I think about what I love most in darts, it’s always the conviviality.

What’s your most memorable darts moment that made you celebrate like you’d won the world title?

At the 2018 Dutch Open, my debut appearance, I shocked myself by finishing 17th!

What’s your #1 practice tip to seriously improve your dart game? Any drills, routines or mindset strategies that made the biggest difference for you?

I always play practice games against Dartbot, moving up a level each time I win. I also regularly train on 121 finishes.

What’s that one beginner mistake you still catch yourself making?

Not adding my scores right when I’m on a finish, classic rookie move.

For female players aiming to go pro, what’s the most difficult hurdle to overcome?

I wouldn’t call myself a professional, but I love the game and compete in many tournaments while also working full-time.

Social media often dismiss women’s darts as ‘less entertaining.’ How do you combat that stereotype?

I find that completely unfair, women can play absolutely thrilling matches too.

Do female players get the same chances to compete as men in darts?

I believe women’s darts is still treated as secondary compared to the rest.

What rule needs to change most to help women in professional darts?

Equal prize money across all categories, no exceptions.

Have you ever had your practice interrupted because ‘the men needed the board’?

Not during training, but it has happened at tournaments.

Which non-dart sports successfully market their female athletes, ideas we should steal?

Football, 100%. They’re crushing it with equal promotion.

What’s your funniest or most embarrassing darts memory that only makes sense if you were there?

My very first time on the TV stage!

Which three non-throwing attributes separate good players from legendary ones?

Competitive spirit, that relentless will to win every leg. Perseverance, to keep throwing well even when the darts aren’t falling. And confidence, because if you don’t believe in your throw, no one else will.
